DEBRIEF + ASSIGNMENT
The client wanted a creative display using their logo and brand.
We engaged in detailed discussions to understand K-energy and their target audience and visual preferences. At this stage, we gained valuable insights into their brand identity and design requirements.
2.
PLAN + RESEARCH
Researched and created a vision board.
We analyzed the client's brief, collected reference photos, identified key deliverables, and conceptualized innovative design ideas that aligned with their vision.

4.
PRODUCTION
Individually created final product through feedback and critiques.
VALUABLE LESSONS I LEARNED —
ASK QUESTIONS
It's okay to ask for help and ask clarifying questions.
I realized that seeking clarification was more efficient than struggling alone. The other designers appreciated my curiosity, and it contributed significantly to my professional growth and the success of our projects.
COLLABORATION
You gain confidence through other designers.
In the beginning I felt incompetent to be pitching my ideas and sharing my designs to other experienced designers. However, they were incredibly encouraging and helped me realize that you learn the best and grow as a designer when you put your work and yourself out there.
WORK CULTURE
Work-life balance ensures lasting sustainability.
Having a longer work day than the traditional 8-5 was hard to get used to at first, but I learned to appreicate my free time more and became more productive during the extended hours. Exploring the city after hours and eating good food led to a greater sense of fulfillment.
MY EXPERIENCE IN KOREA —
MY BIGGEST CHALLENGE
Moving to a different country was exhausting. The time zone and diet change was difficult to get used to but once I settled in, I appreciated the opportunity to work in the country I was born in, and learned so much from the different design and work culture in Korea.
SOMETHING I'M PROUD OF
My biggest worry was being apart from family and friends but I was able to find things to fill my time with. I got to explore the city filled with unique cafés, shops, activities, and restaurants and took note of accessible designs in the space I was in.
